FYFC Committee 2016/17

FYFC is totally run by volunteers.  Here is our wonderful committee of officers who work tirelessly to ensure a fun and safe football environment for our youngsters.  


Peter Hirons is our chairman and has overall responsibility for the running of the club.  He's usually found cooking hotdogs, bacon and burgers on a Saturday morning.  Pop in and say hello!

Marketing, Commercial Officers and Webmaster

Andrew Varley & James Whitbourn are responsible for the marketing,commercial and social Media for the club, if you have any questions of would be looking to sponsor please drop them an email, 


Mark Leigh is our Treasurer.  He's responsible for keeping us financially afloat and sound!

Club Welfare Officer

Rachel Gray is our Club Welfare Officer.  She is responsible for ensuring our members are safe and all managers and volunteers are checked out via the Online Disclosure and Barring Service.  Contact Rachel if you have any concerns over the welfare of our members or behaviour of any supporters and guests

Facilities Development Officer

Andrew Varley is responsible for our buildings and facilities

Membership Secretary

Arron Lock manages our Membership database and works with the Treasurer and team managers to ensure that fees are paid and that we have up to date contact details for all our members and parents/guardians


Pete Ballam

Pete is responsible for our grounds at Meades Park, Loseley Fields School and the Childrens Center.  He cuts and maintains the grass, as well as white-lines the pitches and cutting back our hedges

Football Development Officer

Dave Walker takes care of developing our football skills.  He's responsible for the team managers and coaches and ensuring they are well supported

Fund Raising Team

Melanie Martin and Kas Girdler coordinate the fundraising efforts for our club.  This involves collecting money for our 'Road to Success' campaign, as well as organising events such as our very popular Quiz Night!

Merchandise Officer

Heather Farthing is responsible for our FYFC Merchandise.  Look out for our new online shop launching in 2017!!

Catering Officer (aka Tuck Shop Manager)

Lisa Ballam runs our very popular tuck shop which is the heart of our FYFC Community!  Quality hot food and sweet treats are available Saturday and Sunday mornings.  Please contact Lisa to sign up to help!

FA & Leagues Secretary

Simon Capel manages our relationship with the Football Association, and specifcally Surrey FA, as well as the leagues that our teams play in.  He ensures our teams are registered in the summer, in time for the season kick off in September, and also keeps an eye on any sanctions on any members or the club for failing to follow the rules!
